i cheered when bad things happened... booed when good things happened and shouted my commentary for all to hear. i think and will testify that i made a spectacle of the whole movie.
in other news, i had a panic attack and couldnt finish any art this week (sorry!) i was focusing on school work.

here the deal, anyone heard of invisible children???
heres some background info:
In Uganda, there has been a terrible war going on for 23 years. The LRA rebellion against the government has been kidnapping innocent children from ages 5-10 (because they are most vulnerable and corruptible at this age) and forcing them to fight and kill in their army, on threat of torture and death. The government, in attempt to protect its citizens, moved them to a relocation camp. Unfortunately the relocation camp's conditions are horrid, and disease and famine plague the area. Every night the children of the community commute to the local hospital to sleep on the ground packed together with all the other children, with a blanket if they are lucky. This is just the beginning of the horrors for the children of Uganda, who their whole lives, have never once known peace.
Where your money will be going:
The money donated to Invisible Children will be utilized to provide educational and financial support to the children of Uganda. The conditions of their schools at the moment are poor at best. Invisible Children provides school supplies, a better learning atmosphere, and better training for teachers. Their idea is that by bettering the education system, Uganda will have a more advanced and intelligent generation ready to take over with an advantage that previous generations lacked. They also are providing financial support for those children who have escaped. These children were either forced to be soldiers or were sexually abused. Invisible Children has implemented programs to teach them valuable skills in order for them to be self sustaining.
Our Fundraiser:
I am part of a concerned group of individuals who, to demonstrate our support, will spend a night sleeping on the floor with nothing besides a blanket, just as the children in Uganda do. We will not eat for the duration of the event, so we can feel the hunger that the children of Uganda experience daily. We hope that by doing this, we will create awareness and raise money for these children through sponsorships from concerned citizens such as yourself. just as an experiment, if you are reading this, write "buffalo jerky" in your comment on this journal. maybe i might do a little something for you....(which means make a journal about those of you who do or put your icon in my sig for a month)
